Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
Service
Was It Vibed? is a free tool that analyzes publicly accessible websites for patterns commonly associated with AI-generated code. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Acceptable Use
- Only scan URLs you have permission to analyze or that are publicly accessible.
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.
- Do not use the service to harass, defame, or harm others.
Accuracy
Scan results are heuristic estimates based on pattern detection. A high "vibe score" does not definitively prove a website was built with AI tools, and a low score does not guarantee it wasn't. Results should not be used as the sole basis for any professional, legal, or commercial decision.
Rate Limits
The service is rate-limited to 50 scans per hour per IP address. We reserve the right to adjust limits or block access to protect service availability.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Was It Vibed? and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
